Reconstitution of the fabulous Bartók concert given by Fricsay and his orchestra on May 25, 1952 at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris. This original program juxtaposes the most authentic and virtuosic Dance Suite on record, Geza Anda's first performance of the Piano Concerto No.2 and the pre-war Divertimento, its fantastic climax marked by this memorable conductor's sense of giocoso. A first homage to Fricsay for his centenary.
