ARTURO TOSCANINI 150th ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE CONCERT

Toscanini is known as the greatest conductor of modern times, with 117 operas to his name – not just by Italian composers such as Verdi, Puccini or
Giordano, but also by Wagner, Moussorgsky and Debussy. He furthermore conducted an eclectic range of 480 symphonies, which included 48 premieres. This compilation, to commemorate his 150th anniversary, reflects his distinctive blend of perfectionism and passion.
