CLAUDIO ARRAU – JOHANNES BRAHMS - RAFAEL KUBELÍK
Having won particular fame as a great Beethoven interpreter, Arrau is no less celebrated for his Mozart, Schubert, Chopin, Liszt, Schumann, Debussy and Brahms. His understanding with Kubelík was particularly deep, the Czech famous conductor cumulated the generosity of Bruno Walter, great ‘mahlerian’ as him, and the stature of a great symphonist, as Eugen Jochum.
